| On behalf of the ECYSA Board of Directors, I want to congratulate not only our Champions,
but all of the participants in the 2008 ECYSA playoff tournament.
Members of the Board put in many hours of hard work before and during this past weekend in order to pull this
event off, but this year was made all the better by the tremendous attitudes your teams and spectators brought
to the fields this year.
I am happy to report that not only did we have a record low number of negative incidents involving players,
coaches and spectators, we also noted what seemed to be a record high level of sportsmanship and cooperation
repeatedly demonstrated by those same players, coaches and spectators!
Please extend our thanks and compliments to the vast majority of the participants who made this year's
event so smooth and pleasant for everyone!
